Successful middle-aged cartoonist Alison is working on her memoirs. As she delves into the past, recalling how she discovered her sexuality and found the courage to come out, she begins to understand that her father may not have been all he seemed.

Adapted into a musical from the book Fun Home by Alison Bechdel, the production won five Tony Awards in 2015, including Best Musical and Best Original Score.
